Akhirnya kita masuk ke COTS edisi ke 3!! yeeeee (?) Kali ini kita akan membahas lagu dari salah satu band idolaku, RHCP!!! Band beraliran funk ini sangat luar biasa. Pertama kali aku denger adalah lagu Aeroplane dan berlanjut hingga sekarang,band ini yang membuatku tertarik dengan musik Funk yang asik :D oke langsung saja kita bahas lagunya :

Dan lagu yang akan kita bahas kali ini adalah salah satu lagu wajib RHCP yang berjudul californication. Lagu Californication ini dikeluarkan dalam album Californication tahun 1999. Albumnya laku keras dan lagu Scar Tissue memenangkan Grammy Awards. Lagu Californication ini menceritakan tentang sisi gelap Hollywood dan ekspor budaya lewat industri film dan jg menyinggung ttg pornografi, operasi plastik, pop culture (macam Kurt Cobain, David Bowie, Star Wars dan Star Trek). Album Californication ini juga menandai kembalinya John Frusciante menggantikan Dave Navarro sebagai gitaris.

Kenapa lagu ini di perimbangkan? menurutku lagu ini lagu yang easy listening, dengan sentuhan funk yang lembut. Musik dalam lagu ini juga diciptakan sangat baik dengan perpaduan melodi dan lick bass gitar yang enak di dengar.
